Brookland Childcare opened their nursery in Bryn in January 1999 and it was the third nursery in the chain. The nursery is registered with Ofsted and the Environment Health Department for Hygiene. The nursery is registered for 90 children and this is broken down as follows:
- Babies 0-1 years: 20 places (2 rooms)
- Tiddlers 1-2 years: 18 places
- Toddlers 2-3 years: 18 places
- Pre-school: 34 places (3 rooms)
The nursery operates on a five-day week (Mon-Fri), opening at 7.30am and closing at 6.00pm. We are closed on Bank Holidays and for one week over the Christmas period. We welcome the opportunity to try to offer your child sessions that will best suit your needs.
There is a qualified cook on-site who provides excellent fresh meals each day which are healthy and nutritious. She is able to cater for any special dietary requirements that your child may have.
Brooklands Childcare has a curriculum which is used to plan activities providing a fantastic range of opportunities and experiences within an environment that enables your child to explore, observe and discover.
We aim to provide the highest standard of care, education and fun for all children.
All children have a key worker who is responsible for their overall care and development.
As parents, you are welcome to visit either to talk to your child's key worker, view your child's achievements or just to help with activities.
